Spontaneous Rectal Perforation with Transanal Evisceration of the Small Bowel: A Rare Case Report

Transanal evisceration of the small bowel is a rare surgical emergency. Rectal perforation in such cases usually due to an underlying rectal prolapse. We report case middle aged (45 years) male with spontaneous and transanal bowel. Approximately 150 cm had eviscerated transanally patient required emergent abdominal exploration, reposition bowel, repair perforation. Small through anal verge condition aim was prevent life threatening complications related sepsis.
